FAQs

Frequently Asked Questions

Our service fees are billed separately from the employee's wages, and payment terms are structured with the business owner's best interest in mind.

How is your total agency fee calculated (flat vs. percentage)?

Our fees are not a single flat rate across all hires. They are calculated based on the staffing category that best fits your need:

  • On-Demand / Short-Notice (48-hour placements): 10–15% of wages (minimum fees of US$35 apply).
  • Seasonal / Project-Based: 15% of total wages over the project (minimum fees of US$120 apply).
  • Long-Term / Salaried Roles: one month of the candidate's salary (milestone payments apply — 30% payable once the contract is signed, 70% payable after the employee successfully completes their probationary period with you).
Are fees structured differently for part-time or full-time workers?

Not strictly by "part-time vs full-time." Instead, fees are determined by:

  • whether the need is shift-based/urgent (on-demand),
  • seasonal or tied to a defined period/project (project-based), or
  • a long-term embedded role (salaried/long-term).
What would the total estimated fee be for a given role?

Example: Part-time Production Assistant, US$6.00/hour, 15–20 hours/week (weekly wages estimate $90–$120). For a consistent part-time requirement, Seasonal/Project-Based pricing is proposed for clearer budgeting and stronger continuity.

Option A — On-Demand (standard bookings, ≥48 hours' notice): 10% of wages, minimum US$35 per invoice/assignment. If invoiced weekly, the minimum typically applies — weekly fee $35, weekly total (wages + fee) $125–$155.

Option B — Seasonal / Project-Based (recommended for steady part-time coverage): 15% of total wages over the life of the project, minimum US$150 per worker per project. Example: an 8-week project ($720–$960 wages) → 15% = $108–$144 (minimum applies); a 12-week project ($1,080–$1,440 wages) → 15% = $162–$216 (minimum does not apply).

What if the employee does not work out?
  • On-Demand guarantee: if a worker fails to report for a confirmed shift or is clearly unsuitable within the first 2 hours, we replace the worker at no additional service fee (you're only billed for any wages actually owed, plus the standard service fee on the replacement).
  • Seasonal / Project guarantee: if a worker proves unsuitable within the first 40 hours (or first work week, if shorter), we provide a replacement at no additional service fee, and you're only billed for wages actually worked.
  • Long-term / salaried replacement guarantee: if the placed candidate resigns or is terminated for cause within the first 90 days, we conduct one full replacement search at no additional placement fee (subject to the standard conditions in the fee schedule).
